Body After Baby–the Plan Stan

I have found yet another blog hop to join.  Over at Mama Notes, she is doing a body after baby challenge where she will share her journey; she has invited others to join in.  So here goes.

Patrice is 16 weeks old and I have about 16 pounds to get to pre-baby with her, and then those other pounds, but lets ignore the extras for right now πŸ™‚

Mama gives us the option of sharing or not sharing a before and after.  I think I will go ahead and share the beginning photo.

My plan is to keep running.  I love it and we just got the new treadmill set up.  That was a big investment for us to make right now and I want to honor that by using it A LOT.  So hopefully this challenge will keep me working toward being the healthy mama my girls deserve.  Eating wise, I am not sure what I will do.  I am nursing Patrice full-time and am nervous about cutting calories.  It is easy for the body to go into starvation mode, making it even harder to lose and it is possible to cause a milk supply drop, so we’ll see about diet.

But here goes…I have nothing to lose, but the weight, right?

Survive til you Thrive!

  1. best of luck! 16 weeks old and you only have 16 to lose? awesome! my baby' sis 22 MONTHS old and i still have 15 to lose! oops! πŸ™‚

    you can do it!

as for diet, make sure you drink plenty. You might want to check out the Eat Clean Diet (what I am following). It's not really a DIET per se, but rather a way of eating and living very healthfully.

i look forward to following your journey during this challenge! πŸ™‚

  2. Tutus N' Trucks

Yay! Im so excited to follow everyone.
And 16 pounds to pre baby weight…pssh you can TOTALLY do that!! =) Good luck!!!

  3. Way to go! I'm sure you'll do great! Running is so fun, I am just starting to get into it. I want to do a marathon someday.

  4. Brandon and Jenny

I'm here with ya! We can both do it. I am with you with the nursing thing. I am paranoid about not making good milk for my little one. Both this baby and my last one have not gained enough weight.

  5. You're going to do great! πŸ™‚

  6. Good Luck!!

  7. You can totally do the 16!! πŸ™‚

  8. Hey just visiting the other momma's. πŸ™‚ I think I'm gonna jump in too. Baby #7 is 3.5 months old. I have a lot to loose right now. Come visit my blog; I'll share there.

I was going to say, too, that I think that's one of my biggest problems – that I don't eat enough in a day and a lot of what I do eat is yucky calories. πŸ™ I think that's gonna be one of my goals.
