Patrice has been very different than I older two in one key feature…she has not liked tv or shown a preference for any character toys. The older two loved Barney.
Now let me say, my hubby and I are in the minority. We do not mind Barney. Not at all. But Patrice wanted none of it.
There is one characters I can’t stand…
So go ahead, guess who makes Patrice so excited she jumps up and down yelling “Yay.” And guess what mama has now bought several Elmo videos, some for now and some for her birthday? And guess what mama now has a Pinterest board to save Elmo ideas…yup, this mama.

We have watched Yo Gabba a couple times. The girls hated it. Hubby loved it. Now you know what I live with.
Oh my gosh. We were on the same wavelength with our confessions today without even knowing it. I just posted about that annoying yellow duck from Wonder Pets. Honestly, I find Barney not that bad compared to some of the characters out there. And Kim is right, never introduce them to Yo Gabba Gabba. Eeeek! The worst.

I love Elmo! And I agree…stay away from Yo Gabba Gabba, you will regret it forever if you don’t!

I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw Elmo!! I used to like him until they made his voice higher-pitched and started directing more and more of the show towards him! ~Now I feel the same way! lol Fortunately, my toddler doesn’t care too much for Elmo either–prefers other characters.
I tried to slide Barney in on her…she will watch him, but not with the glee or interest the little red monster gets. She asks for Elmo the whole time Barney is on!
